Little Makalolo

Intimate luxury camp in the Hwange National Park

Little Makalolo is an exclusive luxury tented camp located at a waterhole in the Hwange National Park. With only 6 tents, the camp is very intimate and the elevated star bed at Madison Pan is the perfect immersion into the wilderness.

The Little Makalolo Camp is situated at the Ngamo Plains in the eastern part of the Hwange National Park. Huge herds of antelope, elephant and buffalo are found there, as well as African predators.

Little Makalolo offers luxurious accommodation in only six tents (including a family suite). All tents have en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers, fans, writing desks, easy chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and a nice veranda with seating area overlooking the waterhole.

The main area of Little Makalolo offers a swimming pool, an open plan lounge and dining/bar area, a reading area with a small library, just to name a few of the facilities. A waterhole with a hide attracts wildlife, especially in the dry winter months.

Little Makalolo offers several of activities, including day and night game drives in open safari vehicles, guided nature walks, birding and guided visits to local villages.
