Luxury bush camp in a private concession of the Hwange National Park
Somalisa Camp is an intimate and luxury bush camp in a private concession in the heart of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. The camp has been awarded with an eco-friendly certificate as it operates environmentally friendly, for example with the use of a solar power farm and water purity system.
Somalisa Camp provides accommodation in seven tastefully furnished sailcloth tents. Each of the luxury tents is equipped with an indoor and outdoor bathroom, a fan, a battery charging station, a wood-burning fireplace and a private viewing deck.
Activities at Somalisa Camp include guided walking safaris and game drives, birding and cultural visits. The private concession that Somalisa Camp operates in, is well-known for its huge herds of elephants and buffalos. Other wildlife sightings include rare antelope species such as sable and roan, as well as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and some African predators like lion, leopard and hyena, just to name a few.
