The Munga Eco Lodge is located on the southern outskirts of Livingstone, Zambia, just a few minutes' drive from the Victoria Falls and the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Despite its convenient location, this small, owner-operated lodge offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by natural bushland with mature trees, dense vegetation and abundant birdlife. The name "Munga", the local word for acacia tree, reflects the lodge's close connection to its natural surroundings.
Accommodation at Munga Eco-Lodge
The lodge consists of four uniquely designed chalets inspired by the shape of acacia seed pods. Each chalet features an en-suite bathroom, a furnished veranda and a private courtyard with an elevated "Sky Bed", where guests can spend the night under the stars when weather conditions permit. The accommodation is complemented by a spacious family chalet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a comfortable living area and a central terrace.
The heart of the lodge is the open-plan main building, which houses the restaurant, bar and a welcoming lounge area. Guests can enjoy both traditional Zambian dishes and international cuisine. A naturally designed swimming pool blends seamlessly into the garden and provides a refreshing place to relax after a day of sightseeing or activities. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
