The David Livingstone Safari Lodge & Spa is located on the banks of the Zambezi River on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, surrounded by the natural environment of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The Victoria Falls are approximately 10 km from the lodge, which was named after the Scottish explorer and missionary David Livingstone. The peaceful riverside setting combines proximity to one of Africa’s most famous natural wonders with a relaxed atmosphere amidst lush tropical river landscapes.

As a 4-star property, the lodge offers 72 rooms and five suites. All accommodations feature en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities, satellite TV, and private balconies overlooking the Zambezi River. Six rooms are interconnecting and are particularly suitable for families, while two rooms have been specially designed for guests with reduced mobility. The suites provide additional comfort with more spacious interiors and private Jacuzzis.
The lodge’s spacious public areas are centred around views of the river. The Kalai Restaurant serves a combination of African-inspired and international cuisine, while the Gwembe Terrace offers a relaxed setting with light meals, grilled dishes, and drinks directly overlooking the Zambezi. The Ujiji Bar complements the dining options with cocktails as well as local and international beverages. Traditional Boma dinners can be arranged for special occasions.
The lodge also features a spa offering a range of treatments, including massages, facial and body treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures. Guests can additionally enjoy a steam room and plunge pool. The lodge provides modern conference and event facilities, as well as a unique setting for weddings and private celebrations overlooking the river.
