Family-friendly luxury lodge at the Zambezi in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park
Thorntree River Lodge is located upstream of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. The lodge offers accommodation in eight luxury suites and two double luxury family suites.
Each suite is equipped with an indoor and outdoor bathroom, private deck and plunge pool, air condition, mini bar, mosquito nets, fans, etc. The main area of Thorntree River Lodge features a communal deck on the riverside with a tastefully decorated boma (with a library and Wi-Fi) and an infinity pool. Active travelers can make use of a gym and a spa.
Thorntree River Lodge operates on a Fully Inclusive base. The offered activities such as private river cruises, cultural visits, catch and release fishing, canoeing, rhino tracking and game drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park are included in the room rate.
Children are welcome and catered for at Thorntree River Lodge. There is a kids club, the so called Ngwana Club that provides hours of fun for children of all ages.
