The Batonka Guest Lodge is a charming boutique lodge offering a peaceful oasis in the residential area of Victoria Falls. Just a ten- to fifteen-minute walk from the town center and the falls, it perfectly combines modern comfort with colonial charm, making it an ideal base for exploring the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls.

The lodge features a total of 27 elegantly furnished rooms, divided into two categories: 16 rooms with private terraces overlooking the swimming pool, and 11 rooms set amid lush gardens. Eight of the garden rooms are interconnected, making them ideal for families or small groups. One of these rooms also includes an annex with two single beds – perfect for families or groups of up to six people.
The lodge’s expansive garden and swimming pool provide a relaxing retreat after a day of adventure. The central area includes a cozy lounge, dining space, a large veranda, and a small curio shop featuring local art and souvenirs. For added relaxation, the Ukuthula Day Spa offers massages and beauty treatments.
Activities and tours at Batonka Lodge
Guests at Batonka have access to a wide range of activities directly on-site or through the lodge’s activity desk. Options include classic tours of the Victoria Falls, safaris in the Zambezi National Park, boat cruises on the Zambezi River, and cultural village visits. Adventure seekers can enjoy bungee jumping from the bridge, white-water rafting, or a canopy tour, while those seeking a more relaxed experience can participate in Elephant Art Safaris, Rhino Walking Safaris, or wildlife viewing from the Siduli Hide.
