The Bayete Guest Lodge is situated in a quiet residential area of Victoria Falls, approximately 4 km from the famous Victoria Falls and the town centre. As the original property of the family-owned Bayete Collection, it combines a relaxed atmosphere with a convenient location for exploring the waterfalls and the many attractions of the region. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the lodge offers a peaceful green retreat away from the bustle of the town.
Accommodation at Bayete Guest Lodge
The lodge offers a total of 30 guest rooms. Accommodation includes Classic and Executive Suites available as double or twin rooms, as well as a spacious Honeymoon Suite. Some Executive Suites feature interleading doors, making them particularly suitable for families or guests travelling together. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, tea and coffee-making facilities, international power sockets, a safe, and an en-suite bathroom. Selected rooms include a bathtub, while the Honeymoon Suite features a freestanding Victorian bathtub for an added touch of elegance.
The centrepiece of the lodge is its spacious tropical garden with a distinctive teardrop-shaped swimming pool. The open-air boma and bar surrounding the pool provide inviting spaces to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, or simply unwind after a day of sightseeing. A full English breakfast is included in the room rate and freshly prepared each morning, while seasonal lunch and dinner menus are available on request. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi via fibre connection is available throughout the property.
Bayete Guest Lodge places great emphasis on sustainability and community involvement. As part of the Bayete Collection, it has been awarded the Bronze Green Tourism Award. The lodge also supports a variety of local initiatives, including anti-poaching projects, recycling programmes, environmental campaigns, and community organisations in Victoria Falls.

A dedicated activity desk can arrange almost every experience available in and around Victoria Falls. Guests can book guided tours of the falls, scenic helicopter flights, Zambezi River cruises, game-viewing excursions, sunset cruises, and a wide range of adventure activities directly through the lodge.
