PheZulu Guest Lodge is located in a quiet residential area of Victoria Falls, approximately 3.5 km from the famous waterfalls, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Its peaceful location away from the busy town centre creates a relaxed atmosphere, while the characteristic roar of the Victoria Falls can sometimes still be heard on quiet nights. PheZulu is part of the family-owned Bayete Collection and is the sister lodge of the well-known Bayete Guest Lodge.
Accommodation at PheZulu Guest Lodge
The lodge features 21 rooms. The accommodation is set within a well-maintained, lush tropical garden and offers views of the surrounding greenery. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a safe, mosquito nets, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The bathrooms feature separate bathtubs and showers. A small private veranda in front of each room provides a pleasant space to enjoy the warm garden atmosphere and the sounds of nature. More spacious rooms are also available for families or guests travelling together.
The outdoor area is centred around a swimming pool surrounded by the green garden landscape, offering a refreshing retreat after excursions in the warm climate of the region. The communal areas are comfortably designed and create a relaxed atmosphere for travellers looking for a personal lodge experience away from larger hotels. Facilities include a restaurant area serving a daily English breakfast, with lunch and dinner available on request. Complimentary Wi-Fi via a fast fibre-optic connection is available throughout the lodge.
In addition to providing comfortable accommodation, PheZulu Guest Lodge places importance on responsible engagement with the local community. The lodge supports local social initiatives, including donation programmes for organisations such as children’s homes, elderly care facilities, and clinics.
Activities and tours at PheZulu Guest Lodge
The lodge assists guests with arranging a variety of activities around Victoria Falls. These include visits to the waterfalls, helicopter flights over the gorges and the Zambezi River (“Flight of Angels”), sunset cruises on the river, as well as various nature and adventure activities. Transfers and excursions can also be organised directly through the lodge, allowing guests to conveniently explore the many attractions of the region.
