Unique guest house in Victoria Falls

The Victorian Manor is located in a quiet residential area, approximately 4 km from Victoria Falls, and is the newest property of the family-owned Bayete Collection. Opened in 2023, this boutique hotel combines the charm of a private home with a particularly personal atmosphere away from the lively town centre. The peaceful surroundings, beautifully maintained gardens, and proximity to the famous Victoria Falls make the property an ideal base for exploring the region.

Accommodation at The Victorian Manor

Numerous statues and carefully selected artworks give the manor a unique character and create a warm, homely atmosphere. The owners, Mike and Alex Johnson, who are also behind the Bayete Collection, place great emphasis on using local materials, supporting regional artists, and designing relaxing garden areas that provide guests with a sense of tranquillity and privacy.

The property features a total of nine individually designed accommodation units: one Master Suite and four Victorian Suites in the main building, as well as two Garden Villas and two Casas set among the surrounding gardens. The rooms and suites are comfortably equipped with flexible king or twin bed configurations, private bathrooms, air conditioning, mosquito nets, safes, tea and coffee facilities, and international plug sockets. The Master Suite additionally offers a private dressing area and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, and bidet. The Casas are particularly suitable for families or guests travelling together, as they feature two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.

The beautifully landscaped gardens form the centrepiece of the property and provide a peaceful retreat for guests. A swimming pool offers a refreshing place to relax after excursions, while the bar serves a selection of beverages throughout the day. Breakfast is freshly prepared daily in the private kitchen and is included in the stay. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request, with the chef preparing seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Activities and tours at The Victorian Manor

An on-site booking office assists guests in arranging activities and excursions around Victoria Falls. These include guided visits to the falls, helicopter flights, sunset cruises on the Zambezi River, as well as a variety of adventure and nature experiences in the surrounding area.
