Upmarket, classic 5-star hotel in Victoria Falls

The 5-star Victoria Falls Hotel is the Zimbabwe’s oldest Hotel and an icon of the small town of Victoria Falls. It was built in 1904 by the British to accommodate the railway workers on the Cape-to-Cairo railway line, was converted into a hotel in the 1970’s and was completely refurbished in 2013.

Now it is one of the world’s classic five-star hotels, being a member of ‘Leading Hotels of the World’.

It is a very upmarket and luxurious hotel, overlooking the gauges downstream the Victoria Falls and with a stunning view of the historic bridge over the Zambezi River. It is located close to the centre of the small town of Victoria Falls and within walking distance to almost all tourist attractions this town has to offer.

The hotel offers 149 rooms and suites, from standard rooms (55) to the very luxurious Presidential Suite (1). All rooms and suites do have air-conditioning, as well as all amenities a 5-star hotel has to offer. Guests are invited to the Stanley’s Terrace or the poolside area, overviewing the garden, the historic bride as well as spray over the falls, enjoying a cup of tea or a light meal throughout the day. Breakfast and Dinner can be enjoyed in Jungle Junction or The Livingstone Room.

The hotel offers shuttles to and from the Victoria Falls International Airport, a gift shop, a beauty spar and a hair salon
