Victoria Falls Helicopter Flights
One of the most exciting ways to explore Victoria Falls is from a bird's eye view by helicopter. This gives the traveler the opportunity to get to know the Victoria Falls in all their beauty from above and to see magnificent views over the Zambezi river landscape, the Zambezi National Park and the two cities of Victoria Falls and Livingstone.
The helicopter flights are offered from the town of Victoria Falls and are organized by the “Zambezi Helicopter Company”. Each guest has their own window seat in the spacious helicopter. The porthole windows provide optimal views of the falls and the surrounding area. Some of the Victoria Falls sightseeing flights offered by the Zambezi Helicopter Company also include a detour to Zambezi National Park, giving you the opportunity to spot some wildlife.

The "Zambezi Helicopter Company" has been offering sightseeing flights for the tourism industry around the Victoria Falls since 1996. Private charter flights can also be requested. The price includes the transfer from the accommodation to the heliport on the outskirts of the city and back again as well as applicable fees.

The following Victoria Falls helicopter flights are offered:
Flight of the Angels
This approximately 13-minute flight was named after a quote from David Livingstone, who is said to have said upon seeing Victoria Falls: “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight.”
The flight will be conducted in a figure eight over the falls, giving all passengers the best opportunity to see the fall. Then we continue upstream. After a short time you reach the Zambezi National Park and passengers have the opportunity to observe some wildlife from the air. Then we go back to the helicopter landing pad.
Flight over the gorges (“Scenic Gorge Flight”)
This 22-minute flight is a combination of the 'Flight of the Angels', with views of the majestic Victoria Falls, as well as a scenic flight over the gorges below the falls. The pilot will briefly bring the helicopter to a standstill over the Zambezi gorges in order to give each guest enough time to take photos. Then you fly again over the Victoria Falls and back to the helicopter landing pad.
Zambezi Spectacular Flight
This 25 minutes long flight will start off by first flying a left and right hand circuit over the Victoria Falls before continuing to Batoka Gorge. The guest gets a good impression of the numerous gorges that the Zambezi has cut into the basalt over millions of years. The helicopter flight continues towards Zambezi National Park in the hope of some beautiful game viewing. Then you fly back to the helicopter landing pad.
